The Opportunity
We are looking for a Next Generation Financial Planner to step into a lead adviser role and help shape the future of Cottons Wealth from day one.
You will work closely with accountants, becoming the go-to financial planning expert across the group — building relationships, delivering advice, and turning opportunity into long-term client partnerships.
This is a role for someone who wants:

What You’ll Be Doing
- Delivering high-quality, holistic financial planning to clients (investments, pensions, tax, protection)
- Building trusted relationships across four accountancy offices
- Converting warm opportunities into lifelong clients
- Working collaboratively with accountants to identify planning opportunities
- Owning the client journey — from first conversation through to long-term advice
- Playing a key role in shaping the Cottons Wealth proposition
At its core, this role is about advice, relationships, and presence.
Who This Is For
You’re likely:
- Level 4 qualified (DipPFS or equivalent) as a minimum
- With 3+ years’ experience advising clients
- Ambitious — working towards Chartered (Level 6+) or beyond
- Commercially aware, but client-first in your thinking
- Confident building relationships with professionals and clients alike
- Local (or willing to be local) to Northamptonshire
