Key Responsibilities
- Conduct fact-finding and analyse client data (KYC, objectives, risk profiles).
- Research and compare financial products including pensions, investments, and protection plans.
- Build cashflow models and retirement projections using tools such as Voyant.
- Draft suitability reports, rationale letters, and regulatory-compliant documentation.
- Prepare illustrations, application packs, and key facts documents.
- Liaise with compliance teams to maintain audit-ready advice files.
- Coordinate case progression and communicate with providers.
- Assist advisers in client meetings and ongoing reviews.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- CII Level 4 Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning. Ideally working towards Chartered or CFP status – we are prepared to help towards this.
- CII Certificate in Paraplanning or CISI qualification preferred.
- Strong technical knowledge of pensions, investments, tax wrappers, and FCA regulations.
- Proficiency with cashflow modelling software.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Highly organised with strong time-management abilities.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in paraplanning or similar technical roles.
